Founder, Caring Companions | Windsor, CT
A proud Windsor native, Elizabeth’s story begins right here in the community she now serves. Growing up in Windsor and the surrounding Farmington Valley, she developed a deep appreciation for family, connection, and the simple moments that shape a meaningful life.
Nearly a decade ago, Elizabeth made a heartfelt decision to return home—to raise her own family close to her parents. As the oldest of four and the only daughter, she always felt a strong sense of responsibility and awareness around aging, family dynamics, and the importance of being present through every stage of life.
That decision became the foundation for something much bigger.
As she watched her family grow and evolve, Elizabeth recognized a universal truth: life is a cycle, and the time we have with our loved ones is invaluable. That realization inspired her to build something rooted in care, dignity, and connection—Caring Companions.
Her vision was simple but powerful:
To create a home care experience that feels less like a service… and more like family.
At Caring Companions, that means going beyond the basics. It’s not just about helping with daily tasks—it’s about enhancing quality of life in deeply personal ways. Whether it’s sharing a favorite book in a client’s native language, engaging in meaningful activities, or providing specialized support for those living with Alzheimer’s or dementia, Elizabeth has built a team that leads with compassion and intention.
Her philosophy is at the heart of everything they do:
“Everyone is someone’s loved one.”
And that belief shows up in every interaction, every care plan, and every relationship they build.
When families begin navigating the often overwhelming decisions around care—whether staying at home or transitioning to a community—Elizabeth and her team are there as trusted guides, offering support, clarity, and genuine compassion every step of the way.
For Elizabeth, this isn’t just a business.
It’s personal. It’s purposeful. And it’s rooted right here in Windsor.
