Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at (860) 969-3134 if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Caring Companions Home Care provides non-medical in-home care services to seniors and adults who need help with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Services include personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, as well as mobility assistance, meal preparation, companionship, light housekeeping, errands, and family care coordination.

Non-medical home care focuses on daily living support rather than skilled medical treatment. Caregivers assist with personal care, safety, and household tasks but do not provide nursing care, medical procedures, or medication administration. This type of care helps individuals age in place safely at home.

In-home care is helpful for:

  • Seniors who want to remain independent at home
  • Adults recovering from illness, injury, or hospitalization
  • Individuals with mobility limitations
  • Veterans using VA benefits
  • Families needing extra support for a loved one

Care plans are customized to meet each client’s needs.

Caring Companions Home Care serves clients throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.
